interview par deux?

Heyyyy everyone! Hope your day/week has gone well.

As you may or may not know, Today was my job interview For a telemarketing position.

First off when I woke up this morning I was nervous, I woke up an hour earlier then usual so I would be prepared when it was time to leave, All I would have to do was just walk out the door to the subway, I knew that I was on schedule for the most part with my timing because I left my house around 8 am. The interview was set for 10 Am, So I guess nerves got the best of me and I kept thinking I was running late, I didn't want to look at the clock for fear of missing my interview.. it was like If I was late I just didn't want to know that my whole commute would have been in vain. Silly I know, but this was my first interview in ages and I just didm't know what to do with all the excess nerves and energy I had going on..

When I got to the subway station the first train was really packed so I waited for the next one, thankfully it was less crowded, so I am glad I waited, it wasnt too far off from the departure of the previous train.. Anyways before my interview day, I had already mapped out how I was going to get there, With suggestions from my built in subway gps My best friend david, Aka, Guru of transit, Lol okay.. you get it..

So I had mapped out How I was going, because there were multiple routes I could have taken, but On the train, I was already changing my mind on how to get to this place, I was going to take a route that would have been longer, So I stuck with the original plan, And I got to my destination much faster.. Finally when I arrived I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw I was a half hour early which was perfect so I could determine where this building was. I found the building and walked around the block a few times before going in because I heard that Going into a job interview too early isn't the best idea.

Well when I got there, I was told where to go, I was sat in front of a computer, I was told to fill out an application within 20 minutes, If I wasn't done in 20 minutes I would have been screwed because an incomplete application would be invalid, I would have had to re apply in 30 days, but I am a fast typer so I was done way before 20 minutes. Afterwards I was tested on how well I can read, pronounce words and etc. I passed that with flying colors, I took a spanish one too but I failed, I can speak read and understand spanish, since I was little, but writing and Translating it, I suck badly.. It made no difference really with that.. All it would have meant was a slight increase in my paycheck, I can always retake it. There was a guy next to me who was having issues with his application and they couldn't help him, I Would have but lets face it  I was just trying to get done so my time wasn't wasted.. I don't know how it turned out for him, But I hope he finished on time.. If I see him tomorrow I'll know.

I did well in the interview all and all, So tomorrow they were very positive about having me back tomorrow. Tomorrow at 1:45 pm I have to be there, I still have to go to job training until 11 am though but thats fine, because I found out what train I can take that will leave me on the same block as the place where I might be working at.
with all the positiive feedback from everyone, and the way it went today, I am confident I will get the job. I am excited and hopeful, getting this job will mean alot for me.. it will eliminate a lot of my issues, so here's to hoping I get it.

Xoxo
Carolyn
